Unwanted Passover Food Collection
As you may know, last year South Hampstead Synagogue and Cheder, together with St John's Wood and Kinloss Shul's organised a collection of all kosher i.e Pesach unopened and non perishable food bought in excess ball of us.
Last year's collection for the Chicken Soup Shelter was so successful, people were eating our matzah donations ALL YEAR !! A truly incredible impact with relatively little effort.
We have been asked to advertise this initiative to all our members so that we can all participate in this mitzvah. So be it cakes, mayonnaise, crisps, tin cans. We want everything donated anytime starting from Sunday 28th April.

Social Action Cooking
On Tuesday six volunteers gathered in the Shul kitchen for chat, laughter and social Cooking ... together we filled the freezer with soups, pasta bakes, vegetarian shepherds pies and chocolate brownies. These will be distributed by Woodside Park Cares to members of the community as needed.
With huge thanks to the Ladies@Woodside Park for making this initiative a reality by sponsoring all of the kitchen equipment needs for this project .
