Situated around a 60 acre lake Ruislip Lido is home to many species of wildlife.  Ruislip Woods, a national nature reserve, offers its own unique natural beauty. Approximately 4 miles

Please bring a packed lunch

We will double up in cars as available.

Please contribute towards petrol if you are getting a lift.

Walks are cancelled if it is raining!

East End Walk
Mile End to Stepney Green. Immediately we were informed that if we lived in Mile End we were 'on the way up' and in fact we were not even in the East End.
East End Walk
East End walk to highlight resettlement to regeneration. We started our walk at St. Botolph-without-Aldgate Church to the sound of the peeling bells on a lovely sunny Sunday morning
Willesden Cemetery
The cemetery was opened in 1873 by the United Synagogue and is the burial place of many well-known members of the Anglo Jewish Community.
Olympic Stadium
A walk to view salmon, stadia, canals and candy, We walked up to the Greenway which had a marvellous view of the Olympic Park where we saw the completed Olympic Stadium, Aquatics Centre, the Orbit and the other stadia behind them.
